One of the most talked-about subjects in our Facebook group is restaurants. MIC’s Economic Development Committee decided to visit Mableton restaurants periodically, and provide some basic information about them — or in other words, “shine a spotlight” on the restaurants in our community. MIC does not endorse the restaurants; the Spotlight exists simply to introduce Mabletonians to restaurants in Mableton.

Ambience: small, super-clean dining area, bright décor, TVs, eat-in tables for 4 or 2. Outdoor seating available at stone tables/benches (though in need of a bit of power-washing), are a nice option.
Wifi: yes
Parking: plentiful, very clean lot
Experience: Greeted by very friendly young lady; immediate aroma was of fresh frying oil (vs. used oils). Typical order at front, fill your own drink cup at the fountain, wait for order announcement (ours was ready exactly on time). Upon arrival, very few customers but within 20 minutes, the place was PACKED. It would appear there are a lot of “regulars”. Lots of dine-ins, lots of carryout order pickups (big ones), sort of a jovial atmosphere. Two large mounted flat screens on the walls.
Meals served in styro takeout boxes, thin paper napkins, no utensils or “wet wipes” (though more paper napkins available at front counter – none at tables). Our “honey hot” 6-wing option with fried okra: wings’ exterior was crispy, sweet with a little heat, okra plentiful (it was *super fresh*, not greasy).
