One of the most talked-about subjects in our Facebook group is restaurants. MIC’s Economic Development Committee decided to visit Mableton restaurants periodically, and provide some basic information about them — or in other words, “shine a spotlight” on the restaurants in our community. MIC does not endorse the restaurants; the Spotlight exists simply to introduce Mabletonians to restaurants in Mableton.

Experience: Busy and great! Menu is in Spanish only; translations are easily Googled and the staff pleasantly explains. Orders are taken at the back counter, meals delivered to table…real dishes and silverware. A large fresh complimentary condiment table is provided (i.e. diced jalapenos, poblano peppers, red onions, radishes, green & red sauces); very clean, more space inside than exterior would indicate. Appetizer of chips and salsa is not complimentary ($.75). Note: all sauces have a bit of “heat”.
What we ate: Shrimp/Queso Nachos, trio of Tacos (beef tongue, fish, shrimp) served in softened thin corn tacos deliciously seasoned, and Shrimp Quesadilla (along with the appetizer chips & salsa; the chips are not salted.) All was quite delicious
Staff super-friendly and efficient; we would definitely return!
