Commissioner Lisa Cupid and Planning Commissioner Galt Porter will host their monthly Community Zoning meeting on Wednesday, March 27 at 6pm at the South Cobb Community Center. Mableton applications to be discussed include:
Z-80 – Embry Development – a new development of about 90 townhouses on Old Bankhead Highway.
Z-11 – Family Life Restoration Center – use of their building on Mableton Parkway near Factory Shoals for transitional housing and job training for the homeless.
The South Cobb Community Center is located at 620 Lions Club Drive in Mableton. Please note the meeting start time is 6pm. Everyone is welcome. This is a great opportunity to learn more about these zoning cases and share your thoughts with the decisionmakers in a roundtable situation.
